KP Spell Helper app for iPhone and iPad

KP Spell Helper is an application that allows young students to practice their spelling word lists in a very fun and efficient fashion. This app is designed to run on iOS iPhone and iPad devices.

As a parent of two young grade school students, my wife and I had to carve out time to give a few practice quizzes before the weekly spelling test. With our kids busy schedule --karate, chess club, track, gymnastics, swimming, scouts, other homework, etc-- often the spelling quiz and preparation got pushed off until the night before the test. That "night before" study approach is not good for anyone, parents included!

As a software developer, and knowing the progress in accessible Text To Speech technologies, I knew that I could create an application that would allow our kids to self-practice throughout the week, as well as add fun elements to the learning process.

You will find the KP Spell Helper application to have some great functionality; re-testing missed words, downloading a shared word list, school/grade codes seamlessly integrating your weekly word lists into the mobile app, etc,....
